Lol well, I got it by making it myself Very proud of it as its the first cosplay of this type I have made (ie big and armoured) Sadly its now in a pretty battered condition so I am going to take it apart and harvest it for materials rather than trying to sell it!
There are lots of times when I see a costume and I'm like, "Oh sweet, that looks just like it" or "Wow that must have taken forever" but this is the first time I've ever thought "YOU HAVE GOT TO BE KIDDING ME!" This is one of the most ambitious and well executed costumes I've ever seen. So take my llama and my favorite and this comment and know that it isn't nearly enough to express how amazed I am by this costume.
Whoa I'm in awe. Besides the amount of effort that seems to have been put to detail, it looks heavy. But from the comments, seems you were able to perform in it pretty well. And that's always a plus point.
I feel it's one thing to be in the suit, but it's another to be looking at the photos of how you look in suit. Really do get that feeling of 'wow, I really did that pose or that shot'.
Hmm... random question, but when you needed to grab something in that cosplay (or even walk down some stairs or a hallway, or past people in the con) how did you manage? XD Did you have to take some pieces apart? I can just imagine how hard it'd be to maneuver around in that thing!
Well, I had a friend with me at all times (cosplaying as Belgamine so we made a pair) to help me - when we were moving around or getting to where I needed to be I wasnt wearing the stilts which made it easier, and crabbed through doors sideways... actually stairs were ok, as long as they were big enough since I practiced befroe the con. The big wings were also detachable which helped!
Besides with a big dragon bearing down on them most people moved out the way and were really considerate
lol, unfortunately in this picture the ring was the wrong way round - only found out about it afterward! The other photos have it the correct way, but even then this is a part I am remaking as Im really not happy with it!
When I took a single glance, I thought it was a cosplay for a Rangers show, as the sleek design seemed reminiscent of the various villains who had such stylish designs. Reading the name, I figured that it was from one of the Final Fantasies.
I'm not particularly a fan of the games and their mixed up stories, but this dragon (it is a dragon, right?) costume is simply amazing.
